Amazing day cleaning up around Bare Island with these beautiful aquatic bees! The conditions were perfect and a turtle even swam by to say thank you!

How can I contribute?

If you're a scuba diver / freediver or snorkeler - you can look for trash underwater! 🏄 Surfers and 🚣 Kayakers can team up with divers and take over full trash bags or large objects. Our cleanups aren't only about getting into water, so you're also more than welcome to help out on land! There's plenty to do on the shore and nearby parks.

Everyone's welcome to join our cleanups 🤗! To get notified about future events, you can:

Our Cleanup Guidelines

  • ♻ Bring a mesh bag to collect trash
  • 🧤 Use gloves
  • 🙋 If you're in the water, always have someone looking after you (a buddy)
  • 🐠 Be mindful about objects that have coral or animals living in them (usually glass bottles)
  • ☕ Bring a reusable cup for a hot beverage
  • 📸 Feel free to take photos!
  • 👬 Respect other volunteers
  • 🤪 Have fun! 🎉
